Sport and Recreation is pleased to announce the latest workshops within the Sports Education series.

The Speed and Agility for field sports workshops are suitable for coaches, players, athletes and parents. This theoretical and practical workshop covers speed, agility and quickness with the aid of some effective systems and program designs. Also covered is a look at technique errors and corrections along with flexibility development.

Knowledge from this course can be applied to both winter and summer sports, for the off-season and during competition.

Please refer to the following for locations and dates for 2009:

- Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen on 28 October
- Cricket NSW, Paddington on 11 November
- Cronulla Sharks Rugby League Club, Woolooware on 18 November

The workshops cost only $35 per person. Completed workshops can be used as update points for the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (as determined by individual sports).
